Three O'Clock Project operates as a nonprofit based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, focused on delivering nutritious meals and nutrition education to at-risk students after school. It collaborates with schools, after-school programs, food vendors, and local communities to provide these meals at little or no cost. The organization sponsors eligible schools and programs and administers the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), in addition to offering meals and services through the Summer Feeding Program. Its primary beneficiaries are at-risk students and the programs serving them, with activities that sit within the wellness and fitness services landscape. Through its sponsorships and CACFP administration, the project supports schools and community partners that operate after-school and summer meal programs. In 2022, Shake Shack announced a partnership with Three O'Clock Project, illustrating ongoing collaborations to broaden access to nutritious meals.
