Three Rivers Park District is a government park system serving the west suburbs of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area in Minnesota. It manages nearly 27,000 acres of park reserves, regional parks, regional trails, and special-use facilities, with the geography named for the watersheds that feed the Mississippi, Minnesota, and Crow rivers. Based in Plymouth, Minnesota, the district employs hundreds of staff to maintain and operate its network of spaces. Its mission centers on environmental stewardship through recreation and education within a natural resources-based park system. The district provides facilities and activities across seasons, including trails for hiking and biking, water-based recreation, skiing, camping, and various educational programs, serving about seven million visitors annually. In February 2026, the district announced the launch of a new reservation and registration system to improve online experiences.
