Thronateeska Heritage Center operates as a museum and historical complex in Albany, Georgia, offering a campus that includes a history museum, a science museum, and a planetarium. The facilities preserve and repurpose historic structures, notably the 1913 Union Station depot now housing the History Museum, and manage the South Georgia Archives within the Fryer Merritt House, alongside other historically listed buildings. The Science Museum, opened in 2008, provides interactive exhibits and programming, while the Wetherbee Planetarium features a large immersive screening experience, complementing rotating exhibits in the history galleries.
