Through the Heart is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting individuals, couples, and families through any type of pregnancy loss including miscarriage, stillbirth, and termination for medical reasons. We provide compassionate programs like Comfort Kits, educational resources, Dear Star Baby books, and the Wandering Angel Project to help families feel seen, supported, and remembered.

Pregnancy loss can be physically, emotionally, and mentally overwhelming, regardless of the situation or stage of pregnancy. Because it’s a topic that isn’t often talked about, many people struggle to know how to support loved ones who are grieving. Well-meaning words can sometimes fall short—or even unintentionally hurt—leaving families to navigate their grief alone.

Almost everyone knows someone who has experienced a pregnancy loss, whether a family member, friend, co-worker, or neighbor. By bringing more attention and understanding to this experience, Through the Heart helps create a community where grief is acknowledged, support is offered, and healing is possible.
