Timothy Taylor Gallery is a London-based platform focused on post-war abstraction. Over approximately two decades it has built a multi-generational roster that includes artists such as Kiki Smith, Alex Katz, Richard Patterson, Gabriel de la Mora, and Shezad Dawood, presenting them alongside the estates of Antoni Tapies and Simon Hantai. The program operates with a small to mid-sized team and curates group and solo exhibitions that bridge historical and contemporary practice, featuring both archival material and living artists. The gallery extended its reach internationally with the opening of Timothy Taylor NY in 2016, a Chelsea space intended to extend its London program. In 2026, Timothy Taylor closed its New York offices, concentrating its activities in London. The move marks a refocusing of the gallery away from the U.S. outpost after nearly ten years.
