Tiny Trees Preschool is a Seattle-based nonprofit that runs outdoor early-education programs in public parks across King County. By delivering preschool in outdoor classrooms rather than a traditional brick-and-mortar facility, the organization aims to lower costs and broaden access while supporting high-quality teaching in natural settings. It partners with public agencies and cultural institutions, including Seattle Parks and Recreation, King County Parks, and the Seattle Art Museum, and participates in the Seattle Preschool Program – Pathways to provide free tuition for children living in poverty. Founded in 2016, Tiny Trees opened four park-based locations in West Seattle, North Seattle, Southeast Seattle, and Rainier Valley. It later expanded with new outdoor schools opening in fall 2017 at the SAM Olympic Sculpture Park, Cougar Mountain, and Big Finn Hill Park. Based in Seattle, Washington, the nonprofit operates across public parks in King County with a focus on accessible, nature-infused preschool education.
