To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc. is a nonprofit, all-breed, foster-based, no-kill dog rescue operating in Chester County, Pennsylvania. As a volunteer-driven organization with 501(c)(3) designation, it focuses on rescuing abandoned, stray, and surrendered dogs from various sources and finding them permanent homes, aiming to reduce euthanasia of animals. The rescue ensures dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped before adoption, and it emphasizes transparent information about each dog's history to prospective adopters. TLC also provides support through foster families and trainers to facilitate a smooth transition and ongoing guidance for adopting households. Based in Kimberton, the organization coordinates its efforts across southern regions and local shelters, seeking to match dogs from puppies to seniors with suitable families and ultimately to empty shelters.
