Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is the largest tertiary education provider in the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato regions, and the third largest institute of technology in New Zealand. We are home to approximately 10,500 students, more than 930 staff and offer more than 150 courses, ranging from vocational training and trade certificates to masters degrees and postgraduate study options. Born from the merger of Waiariki Institute of Technology and Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, we aim to lift our communities higher through purposeful connections and partnerships, shared knowledge, and innovative educational options for domestic students, and those who travel to our shores from around the world, looking to be awakened and inspired by learning.
