The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is located about 50 kilometers northeast of the city of Toronto in the eastern area of York Region.  It's 206 square kilometres span some of southern Ontario's most beautiful countryside, including the rolling terrain of the Oak Ridges Moraine.
 
Whitchurch-Stouffville offers a unique blend of urban and country living with over sixteen small communities forming the heart of the municipality.   The larger communities, such as Stouffville, Ballantrae and Gormley are surrounded by the tranquility of Cedar Valley, Bethesda and Musselman's Lake, all within a short drive of some of Canada's most vibrant economic regions.

In 2011, Whitchurch-Stouffville was deemed Canada's third fastest growing community.  Those trends are continuing as the municipality reaches 2020.  We boast higher than provincial average population numbers for young families, all contributing to a growing and very strong economy.
