Founded in 1963, Townley Engineering & Manufacturing is a rapidly growing, American-made solutions expert for wear and abrasion problems found in the mining, dredging, and power industries. Townley has one of the largest state-of-the-art white iron foundries in the United States with single pouring capacity of over 35,000 pounds, CNC machinery featuring live tooling, and Romer scanning technology for solid modeling. Townley specializes in the application of our proprietary Towniprene™ urethane to parts prone to fine feed wear such as pipes, elbows, spools, and fittings. Townley is proud to manufacture hand-built rubber hose, valves, and submersible pumps – all engineered to increase wear life and lower operating costs. In August 2025, Townley was acquired by mining technology company Weir.
