Townsend’s intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment program is an alternative to inpatient treatment, giving patients the opportunity to recover from addiction without leaving their family or job. Most Townsend programs are in the evening, and are designed for the busy student or professional. Townsend helps patients find ways of coping with their symptoms through active engagement in successful therapeutic programming, medical care and chronic disease management for lifetime recovery. Each site’s clinical staff, comprised of licensed physicians and counselors, work as a team to provide patients individualized care to fit their specific needs.
