This is District 211. Every day, we work collaboratively to deliver unique experiences and innovative, relevant learning to our more than 12,000 students, ensuring opportunities for success while they’re with us and after they graduate. We actively seek qualified applicants for classified and licensed teaching positions throughout the year, and work diligently to match our District’s needs with applicants’ skills while being cognizant of our obligation to deliver equitable experiences to our increasingly diverse population. At our core is a highly qualified and effective staff and parents, students, alumni and community members who truly value and help maintain an established legacy of excellence. Our five high schools and two alternative high schools hold a distinguished history of student achievement and boast award-winning educators who create a culture of respect and pride that our learning community has come to expect. We consistently provide diverse opportunities for success in the classroom, as well as in activities, the arts and athletics. We are a team of individuals who value education; have the tenacity to create life-shaping experiences for every student; strive to reach students where they are and where they know they can be; and reflect a rich diversity. Located about 25 miles northwest of Chicago, District 211 is the largest high school district in the state and serves the communities of Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Palatine, and Schaumburg, and parts of Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, Streamwood and South Barrington.
