TPM was founded in 1992 by Edward F. Blackburne, Jr., who pioneered an innovative process for making custom, spiral-welded, metal tubing.  The process, which incorporates specially designed mills and proprietary techniques, gave TPM unprecedented flexibility in handling various product sizes and features.
