Trammo Dubai operates as an independent trader in the chemical sector, focusing on ammonia and other bulk commodities such as fertilizers and sulfur. Based in the United States, it coordinates cross-border trading and multimodal logistics to move these products by vessel, barge, and railcar. The company has expanded its logistics capabilities through a multimodal terminal at the Port of Batumi, Georgia, with operations that began in 2021 after construction started in 2019. Recent initiatives reflect a strategy to create strategic logistics corridors for bulk trade, including a partnership with Wondernet Express LLP to facilitate movement from Central Asia across the Caspian Sea to Western markets via the Black Sea. The group is pursuing low-carbon ammonia projects, evidenced by a memorandum of understanding with Elengy for a terminal in Fos-sur-Mer, France, and an agreement with Allied Green Ammonia Pty Ltd to explore green ammonia production. In early 2025, Trammo announced ongoing discussions with Exxon Mobil regarding a potential long-term offtake of low-carbon ammonia from ExxonMobil's Baytown, Texas facility.
