Transformative Culture Project is a small nonprofit based in Boston, Massachusetts, focused on expanding access to opportunities, education, and employment in the creative fields for urban youth, artists of color, and entrepreneurs from underserved but culturally rich neighborhoods. It aims to accelerate social and economic transformation by building a pipeline that moves talent from classrooms into the creative economy. It delivers arts- and business-focused youth development programs, job training, professional development, and employment opportunities, while employing local artists to teach its transformative culture curriculum in schools. It also organizes community-driven arts events and forums that emphasize diversity, equity, and opportunity, and it incubates and supports innovative urban arts-based organizations and entrepreneurial ventures. In July 2021, TCP announced a partnership with Community Academy in Jamaica Plain to collaborate on arts-based initiatives for youth and adult artists.
