Transjakarta is a state-owned enterprise under the Government of the Jakarta Special Capital Region, operating in the urban transit services sector from its base in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company employs between 1,001 and 5,000 people. It has served residents of Greater Jakarta since 2004 and transitioned to a Limited Liability Company in 2014. Transjakarta operates what is described as the world's longest Bus Rapid Transit network, spanning 231 kilometers, and carries more than one million trips daily using BRT, feeder buses, Mikrotrans minivans, with connections to suburban commuter rail and the city’s metro.
