Transport Distribution Company (TDC) is a truck transportation provider based in Joplin, Missouri, with operations expanding to additional Midwestern markets. Originating in 1984 in Kansas City, Kansas, the company grew from a small local cartage operation serving a single customer into a regional carrier offering storage, container handling, drayage for pig trailers, and limited over-the-road truckload service. TDC focuses on serving loads within the Midwest, prioritizing frequent home time for drivers and emphasizing service to area shippers by concentrating its equipment and operations in the region. The business has established multiple terminals, including a home terminal in Joplin and offices in nearby Missouri cities and Oklahoma City, to support a sizable local workforce and a network designed for regional coverage. A notable development in its recent history is the acquisition in 2021 by Interstate Job Seekers, which expanded TDC’s ownership structure while continuing its Midwestern focus and geographic footprint.
