Transportation and Logistics Advisors (TandLA) is a specialty management consulting firm with deep experience in transportation and logistics, and energy and resources.  For more than 25 years TandLA partners and staff have advised on a range of topics including growth strategies, pricing, operations, capital investment planning, cost control, acquisition diligence, pre-divestiture planning, regulatory and litigation support.

In transport we have assisted leading carriers, intermediaries, investors, equipment manufacturers and transport services providers on a wide range of domestic and international trade issues.  Our experience spans truckload, less-than-truckload, rail, intermodal, inland-barge, air freight, small package, express, forwarding and customs brokerage, truck brokerage, transportation management, bulk and container shipping, warehousing, 3PL outsourcing, e-Commerce, e-Fulfillment and final mile delivery.

In logistics, we have assisted manufacturers and retailers, importers and other shippers to reduce supply chain cost, increase reliability, lower inventories and in how to make the supply chain part of the corporate strategy.

In energy and resources, we grew into the sector from the supply chain, but have since expanded to include market strategies, operations and capital investment.

Most of our staff have come from large consulting firms, boutique transportation and logistics consulting firms, and transportation service providers.

We bring deep industry knowledge that results in high quality work.  All projects are managed and worked on by Lee Clair, our owner, who has been the partner in charge for hundreds of projects.  Our senior staff are also experts in our industries – not floating from industry to industry as generalists.  Most of our staff members have over 15 years’ consulting experience and the day-to-day project managers have each led more than 100 client engagements.
