Tread Lightly! is a nonprofit organization in the environmental services sector focused on promoting the responsible use of motorized vehicles when recreating outdoors. Its aim is to balance off-road and OHV users’ desire for adventure with the need to conserve the places they ride and explore. The organization conducts a national initiative centered on stewardship and education for motorized recreation, engaging with land managers, industry partners, and outdoor enthusiasts. Based in North Salt Lake, Utah, the organization operates with a relatively small staff. In 2026 it launched Drive 35 to expand responsible riding education and stewardship, with BRP's Responsible Rider Program and Masterclass supporting the effort. Recent field activity includes a stewardship project completed during the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, conducted in collaboration with the Bronco Wild Fund and the Bureau of Land Management.
