The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission was established in 1958 to promote intergovernmental cooperation, regional planning, and a vision for the future. The Commission exists to serve the residents of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties. We offer a forum for leaders of local government and shape a vision for the future by defining regional issues, setting goals, and cooperatively implementing plans. Our services fall into three categories: Transportation, Land Use, and Environment. In these planning areas, Tri-County works with elected officials, regional partners, and the public to increase transportation accessibility, promote responsible land use management, and support the protection of environmental assets. Tri-County seeks to form these regionwide connections to propel our region forward.
