Trident Group America, Inc. is a mid-sized security-focused company serving the maritime transportation sector from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Founded in April 2000 and incorporated in Virginia, the firm grew from the experience of U.S. Navy Special Operations personnel and senior Navy officers who identified gaps in security consulting, technology development, and manpower for the global maritime community. Its offerings include maritime security services, industry training, security consulting, technology development and application, and global executive protection for commercial vessels and oil and gas assets ashore and afloat.

Its early work centered on training ship-based security teams for vessel force protection and on security assessments of critical port facilities, while also addressing piracy concerns in key East Asian chokepoints such as the Malacca and Singapore Straits. The company serves private sector clients, national infrastructure facilities, and oil and gas assets, with operations across high-risk waters worldwide. In October 2023, industry reports noted the appointment of a Group CIO, reflecting governance and leadership development within the organization.
