For over a century, U.S.-based Triplett Test Equipment continues to be on the leading edge of specialized testers. Whether supplying vital test equipment to the U.S. Signal Corps during WWII, or providing the railroad industry with essential testers to ensure the safety of their crews and the public, Triplett prides itself on developing innovative, reliable, and durable test equipment for every technician–that also won’t break the bank. Triplett Corporation was founded in 1904 in Bluffton, Ohio by Ray L. Triplett. The company's first innovative product was the “Hot Wire” meter, an electrical test meter housed in a watch case. Triplett's legacy of innovation continued with the READRITE Model 201 tube tester in the 1920s, the 1200 series Radio Tuning Tester in the 1930s, and meters for the U.S. Signal Corps during World War II. In 1955, Triplett launched the renowned Model 310 hand-held analog volt/ohm meter, which is still manufactured and highly sought-after today. Today, Triplett operates as an independent company, committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions in six major categories: Electrical Test & Measurement, Voice Data & Video Test, Security Camera Test, Vision and Inspection, Specialty Tools, and Toolkits. We also specialize in customizing test equipment for large end-customers in markets such as Security, DataComm, MRO, Mining, and Rail. With over a century of expertise, Triplett continues to lead the industry with innovative products and exceptional customer service.
