Troy Main Street is the behind-the-scenes hype crew for Downtown Troy. We’re the ones connecting dots, championing local businesses, and making sure downtown doesn’t just exist… it thrives.

We support the people who open the doors every morning, flip the lights on, take the risks, and pour their heart into this place. From small shops and restaurants to services, nonprofits, and property owners, we’re here to help downtown businesses succeed, grow, and stick around for the long haul.

What do we actually do? A lot, quietly and loudly. We promote downtown like it’s our favorite personality trait. We bring people together through events that get folks off their couches and into local spaces. We work on economic development, placemaking, and long-term strategy so downtown Troy isn’t just cute today, but strong tomorrow. We advocate, connect, convene, problem-solve, and occasionally remind everyone that supporting local really does matter.

We’re a nonprofit, not a membership club, and definitely not a “one-size-fits-all” organization. Our job is to create an environment where businesses can succeed, the community feels welcome, and downtown remains the heart of Troy. We don’t do it alone. This work happens because of business owners, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and community members who care deeply about this place.

In short: we believe Downtown Troy deserves attention, investment, and a little bit of fun. We’re here to make sure it gets all three.
