TRS executives were instrumental in bringing a new, unique remediation process to market that was originally initiated by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Battelle Pacific Northwest National Laboratories in 1997. Beginning with the launch of the resulting Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) technology in the remediation industry, Thermal Remediation Services, Inc. was formed in 2000.
