Truck & Trailer Specialties, Inc.® was founded by the father & son team of Cal and Dan Bouwman and has been serving the public works and commercial trucking industry since 1974.  

Truck & Trailer Specialties originated in the West Michigan town of Dutton, Michigan, located just south of Grand Rapids.  Over time, Dutton operations expanded into two buildings: production in one, body and paint shop in the other.  

Spring of 2013 saw the opening of a Truck & Trailer facility in Howell, Michigan.   Just six years later, in 2019, the company built a new and more spacious facility at 900 Grand Oaks in Howell, to better meet growing production demands.
