Tucker Development was founded in 1996 by Richard H. Tucker, the company’s CEO.  Richard provides over 35 years of real estate investment and development experience and over 10 million square feet of real estate development and acquisition history.  
 
Since its inception, Tucker Development has developed, redeveloped, acquired, entitled or advised on over 6 million square feet of successful retail & mixed-use properties, and nearly $1B in total capitalizations in key Midwest and East Coast barrier-to-entry markets.

Over the years, Tucker has predominantly focused as a principal for its own projects; however, by partnering with best-in-class capital providers, as well as being recruited to serve in advisory capacities to institutional clients, Tucker has developed into a best-in-class real estate advisor & service provider. 
 
Today, Tucker Development prides itself on its reputation for experience, excellence, and integrity and continues to pursue mixed-use and retail-related real estate investments.  Tucker is actively working on several exciting new projects in the Chicagoland area.
