The Tucson Urban League is a nonprofit organization based in Tucson, Arizona, and an interracial, non-partisan affiliate of the National Urban League. Founded in 1971 by a Tucson Chamber of Commerce committee led by Henry Quinto in response to high unemployment among Tucson minorities, it operates from 2305 South Park Avenue and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization with more than 20 programs. The league pursues equality by drawing on social work, economics, law, business, and related disciplines to support individuals and families across southern Arizona. Its programs serve a broad community of diverse ages and ethnicities, and a 2019 news item notes the appointment of Clarence E. Boykins as interim CEO.
