Tulpehocken Area School District is a public education district located in the northwestern portion of Berks County, Pennsylvania. It spans about 100 square miles and serves five municipalities (Penn Township, Tulpehocken Township, Jefferson Township, Bethel Township, and Bernville Borough) while being based in Bethel. It is about 45 miles east of Harrisburg, 20 miles north of Reading, and 45 miles west of Allentown. The district operates three schools that educate about 1,450 students. Bethel Elementary School and Penn Bernville Elementary School serve kindergarten through sixth grade at opposite ends of the district, while Tulpehocken Area Junior-Senior High School serves grades seven through twelve.
