Founded in New York in 2002, the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TACCI) is a private, not-for-profit membership organization aiming to promote and increase the bilateral trade potential and investment levels between Turkey and the United States. TACCI's diverse membership includes representatives from all segments of the business community and organizations which ranges from individual entrepreneurs to large corporations. It is this diversity that makes TACCI the preeminent Turkish-American business association dedicated to advancing the commerce and industry relations between Turkey and the United States. As the leading Turkish American independent business support and networking organization, TACCI functions to help its members improve their success, gain business expertise and introduce them to potential customers and suppliers. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Under Secretariat of the Turkish Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade (DTM) are both represented on TACCI's Board of Directors and are also the strongest supporters of the organization. TACCI has over 100 established companies in its membership body.
