Originally started in the 1980s by Doug Turnbull, Turnbull Restoration has become the premier firearm restoration company in the United States. We specialize in the historically-accurate restoration of American side-by-side shotguns, lever-action rifles, and Colt single-action revolvers and semi-automatic pistols from the 1880s-1940s.

In 2008 we began manufacturing Turnbull 1911 pistols and 1886 rifles for the first time. We take pride in producing firearms that are not only attractive and period-correct, but that are also extremely accurate and high-quality.

Our newest addition to our company's offerings is our line of Turnbull Finished firearms, and the Turnbull Finishes service. We're pleased to be able to offer  newly-manufactured firearms with historical finishes at an affordable price. We currently offer color case hardening, charcoal bluing, rust bluing, and wood refinishing on Marlin, Henry, Winchester, and Ruger firearms.
