TV Santa Barbara is a nonprofit community media access center.  Our mission is to empower people to make media that matters.  We do this by providing community members with knowledge, resources, and tools to create and distribute their own original programming content.

Ninety-percent (90%) of the messages consumed through media (print, television, radio, movies, online) in the United States are controlled by six companies.  These companies strongly influence the discourse in our communities and our identities.  Authentic community voices are underrepresented in our media systems.
