The UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design (CED) is an academic unit focused on theory, research, innovation, and practice related to the built environment. It consolidates the disciplines of Architecture, City & Regional Planning, and Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning, along with the Institute for Urban & Regional Development and five affiliated research centers, creating an interdisciplinary community.
