UCLA Extension's Custom Programs and Corporate Education Department

Our mission is to provide knowledge and connections for people to achieve their personal and professional goals.

What is a "custom-designed program?" At UCLA Extension, custom-designed programs are programs that are tailored to meet the specific needs of a particular domestic or international group of participants (students or professionals/executives). Many custom-designed programs are adaptations of other courses and programs that UCLA Extension has offered in the past.

The content of each program can be expanded, contracted, and/or adapted to meet the needs of specific clients. These programs can be offered in various instructional intensive formats typically lasting from one to three weeks of instruction; however, some programs have been offered in formats of up to 12 weeks.

Custom-designed programs can be delivered at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles or at a client’s work site in the U.S. Custom-designed programs can also be delivered to a client overseas. When programs are held in Los Angeles, relevant related site visits can serve to reinforce and complement classroom lectures and discussions. Experienced interpreters can also be provided as needed.
