uConnect is a mid-sized technology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that developed an all-in-one virtual career center platform to significantly boost student engagement with career resources. The platform blends content management with contemporary student communication to make career services more visible, accessible, and utilized by students, faculty, and the broader campus community. Context for this effort is grounded in the data that more than 90% of students begin college with employment as a primary goal, yet about half graduate without ever using career services or their online resources.

Its customers include leading universities such as MIT, Arizona State University, Yale, the University of Florida, and UCLA, which use the platform to elevate career services as a strategic component of the student experience and to support clearer paths from education to employment. Built on the founder’s experience and a commitment to broad access, uConnect positions itself within the higher education technology landscape as a facilitator of career readiness and opportunity. In 2024, the company expanded its offering with Candid Career+, a video library for career services.
