A Legacy of Leadership Our story began with Fred Marks, who founded Universal Electric Service Company. The business grew through the industrial expansion led by Warren Marks, who established our Alsip headquarters in 1978. In the 1980s, Don Marks pivoted the company toward dedicated manufacturing, building the Uesco Cranes brand into a national powerhouse. Today, under President Ryan D. Marks, we continue to modernize operations while upholding the craftsmanship and integrity that have been our hallmark for over 100 years. Custom Engineering & Manufacturing Uesco is a vertically integrated manufacturer. We don’t just assemble parts; we engineer complete structural ecosystems. Our in-house Engineering Department specializes in custom overhead bridge cranes and runway systems designed for any environment.
