Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is a Kyiv-based carrier established in 1992 that is 100% privately owned. It connects Ukraine with more than 50 capitals and major cities across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and CIS countries, and provides connections via its international partners to over 3,000 destinations worldwide. The airline operates over 1,100 scheduled flights each week, with Kiev Boryspil International Airport serving as its base. 

The fleet comprises 41 aircraft of various configurations, including 28 Boeing 737 NGs with an average age of 9.7 years for those planes, and an overall fleet average age of 11.6 years. The airline employs a workforce in the hundreds. In 2022 it expanded its offices into Southern Europe, signaling ongoing regional growth.
