Ukrainian National Federal Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative serving the Ukrainian community in the New York metropolitan area with a full range of retail banking services. It provides checking and savings accounts, individual retirement accounts, mortgage and auto loans, business products, money transfers, and access to ATMs and credit cards, with lower loan rates and higher yields on savings as core features. Founded in 1965 as Ukrainian Orthodox Federal Credit Union, the institution adopted its current name in 1996. It operates in the banking industry as a consumer-oriented, full-service retail financial system and is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors. In addition to serving members, Ukrainian National Federal Credit Union provides financial and volunteer support to Ukrainian community organizations in the region.
