“Ukrtelecom” Public Joint Stock Company is the biggest fixed-line telephony operator in Ukraine, the leader among Internet providers. Ukrtelecom is the only founder and participant of “TriMob” LLC, 3G/UMTS mobile operator. The history of Ukrtelecom begins in 1993, when Ukrainian Telecommunication Corporation (since 1994 – Ukrtelecom) was registered. Later the company was reorganized into public enterprise and after the issue of shares in January 2000 –into a joint stock company. Since June 2011, Ukrtelecom has been a public joint stock company. The same year, the changes in the ownership structure of the company took place – “ESU” LLC (Austrian investment fund EPIC) became the majority stakeholder of the company. Since 2013, Ukrtelecom PJSC has been a member of SCM Group. Now the company renders its services to almost 6.5 mln subscribers of the fixed-line telephony; more than 1.6 mln clients have chosen fixed-line high-speed Internet.
