UN Women UK is the UK National Committee for UN Women – an independent non-profit, non-governmental charity registered in the UK. We exist to take action on gender equality here in the UK, while supporting the work of our UN Women family around the world. We work at all levels and across all areas of society – from governments and policy to companies, communities and public spaces – to tackle the norms, policies and systems that hold women and girls back. We’re here for all women and non-binary people who experience gender discrimination, and we understand how gender intersects with race, disability, class, sexuality, religion, nationality and social background. Through programmes, campaigns and our grassroots community, we help create safer spaces, influence decisions and direct vital resources to women’s rights work in the UK and globally. Together with our supporters, we’re building a future where all women and girls can live with safety, choice and a voice. Cover Photo: UN Women/Mariam Alimi
