UNDO, based in London, England, is a mid-sized environmental services company focused on carbon dioxide removal through enhanced rock weathering. The method accelerates a natural geological process by spreading crushed silicate rock with a high reactive surface area on agricultural land, where soil organisms speed the weathering and CO2 dissolved in rainwater is converted into bicarbonates and nutrients that ultimately form solid carbonate minerals in the oceans. The rock is a by-product of the aggregate and mining industry and is provided free to local farmers, who apply it using existing farming infrastructure. 

In addition to delivering permanent carbon removals, the approach aims to improve soil health, support ocean deacidification, and increase profits for farming communities. UNDO is part of Microsoft and Stripe’s carbon portfolios and is expanding its operations in the UK, Australia, and Canada.
