The UNDP Digital, AI and Innovation Hub (Accelerator Labs) operates within international trade and development and is based in New York, New York. It assists governments and wider societies in harnessing digital technologies and innovative ways of thinking to tackle persistent development challenges. As development contexts grow more complex and rapidly evolving, including advances in digital technologies and AI, traditional approaches prove insufficient, and the Hub promotes confident use of these tools and strategic innovation for development. It works across strategies, policies, portfolios, programmes, and institutions to embed digital and innovation into development practice and links the UNDP digital and innovation community, including those previously connected through the Accelerator Labs. Through these collaborations, the Hub supports systemic transformation by enabling countries to apply digital and innovative approaches at scale.
