Unison Health is a nonprofit provider of behavioral health care and substance use treatment serving Northwest Ohio. Based in Toledo, Ohio, the organization seeks to make mental health and addiction services accessible, affordable, and stigma-free for people of all ages, and it is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, with support from the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County and the Wood County ADAMHS Board. Its service continuum includes specialized care for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, medication management, and outpatient counseling for both adults and children. For youth, it provides substance use treatment—encompassing assessment, individual therapy, intensive outpatient programming, and aftercare—and home-based family therapy for children with serious emotional challenges. In 2024, Unison Health launched a home-based program to deliver services directly to youth facing serious emotional and mental health challenges and their families.
