United Against Slavery is a small civic and social organization based in Morristown, Tennessee. It maintains a collaborative research space to collect comprehensive data addressing unresolved challenges facing anti-trafficking stakeholders. Its work aims to mobilize broad participation and voices to influence lasting change in the fight against sex and labor trafficking and domestic servitude, tackling persistent issues such as funding gaps, outdated statistics, and a lack of standard practices and leadership cohesion. The organization collaborates with more than 50 subject-matter experts across 22 countries to support a global network. Within its community, more than 30 Survivor Leaders participate in the Survivor Leaders Connect group as Advisors and contribute ideas to development and growth. In 2020, United Against Slavery became the first recipient of the USDOT Combating Human Trafficking in Transportation Impact Award.
