We’re an innovative technology company, best known for our eConveyancer platform (www.econveyancer.com) which offers an online comparison service where solicitors compete to be instructed by customers introduced by lenders and mortgage intermediaries.

This platform and our extensive relationships with key partners mean Smoove now holds circa 5% market share of new conveyancing instructions in the UK mortgage and remortgage market. 

As well as our conveyancing comparison service, we’ve also expanded our offerings over recent years to offer comparison services in these related and complementary areas:

- Wills
- Estate Agents (www.estateagent4me.co.uk)

In 2018, we launched our DigitalMove platform (www.digitalmove.co.uk), which centralises everyone involved in the conveyancing process to communicate and collaborate effectively. Whether you’re selling your property or purchasing another, DigitalMove can help speed things up and improve communication between you and your conveyancer.

Key dates/activity:

- Listed in July 2014 on AIM, a market of the London Stock Exchange, as ULS technology. 
- Acquired a stake in Legal Eye Limited in February 2015. LegalEye provides governance and oversight of solicitors and their compliance. 
- Acquired a stake in HomeOwners Alliance, a membership organisation offering independent expert property-related articles and advice to homeowners and prospective homeowners in the UK.
- Acquired Conveyancing Alliance Limited in December 2016.
