United Health Services (UHS) is a not-for-profit, locally owned health system that serves as the region's largest comprehensive healthcare network in the Greater Binghamton area. Based in Binghamton, New York, it operates more than 60 locations across Broome and surrounding counties, delivering care to about 600,000 residents in the Southern Tier and parts of Northeast Pennsylvania. The organization is governed by a volunteer-led Board of Directors, reflecting its community-based governance. UHS operates a set of hospitals, including Wilson Medical Center and Binghamton General Hospital, as well as Chenango Memorial Hospital and Delaware Valley Hospital, along with senior living and home-care services. The system is complemented by the UHS Medical Group and the UHS Foundation, forming an integrated network across inpatient, outpatient, and community care. In 2026, UHS expanded its offerings at Chenango Memorial Hospital with the launch of a lymphedema therapy program.
