United Home Insurance Co. is an Arkansas-based insurer focused on property and casualty coverage. It traces its origins to 1914 as a farmers’ mutual fire association in Paragould, evolving through several reorganizations and name changes, including Farmers’ Tri-County Mutual Fire Association and Farmers Home Mutual Fire Insurance Company. In 1947 it converted to a legal reserve mutual with authority to underwrite fire, tornado, hail and allied lines, and casualty coverage was added in 1978 after amendments to its articles. A 2007 merger formed the current entity and it was re-domiciled in Arkansas. The corporate headquarters remains in Paragould, Arkansas, and the company provides homeowners and related property and casualty coverage. In 2020 it introduced an optional solar panel removal and reattachment endorsement, and it entered into a partnership with Road America for 24/7 roadside assistance.
