Founded in 1949, United Record Pressing is North America’s largest historic vinyl record pressing facility, based in Nashville, Tennessee. The company operates as an independent, American-owned producer with a global footprint, delivering end-to-end vinyl production for iconic artists across nearly eight decades. The 160,000-square-foot plant houses more than 60 presses and can produce over 100,000 records per day; lacquer-cutting and electroplating are performed in-house to support a one-stop operation and timely delivery. The business emphasizes reliable, confidential, and timely production, underpinned by rigorous quality control, continuous improvement, and sustainability practices across its supply chain. It serves the music industry with a global reach and integrated capabilities, supporting artists, labels, and other stakeholders requiring dependable vinyl manufacturing. In December 2025, Guillermo Acosta was appointed President, marking a leadership update for URP.
