The United States-Iran Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2014 as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, and registered in Washington, DC. The Chamber’s all-volunteer staff is comprised of all U.S. citizens or legal residents, including Iranian-Americans. With several Directors who are attorneys specializing in international trade, sanctions and general corporate law, as well as congressional outreach, the US-Iran Chamber of Commerce is sought after by companies, trade associations and other trade-related entities to provide guidance on sanctions-compliant trade with Iran. The US-Iran Chamber provides its trade and legal expertise through, inter alia, corporate in-house presentations, compliance conferences, OFAC assistance for individual businesses, research presentations to congressional staff, and legal referrals. The Chamber prides itself on being the only nationwide chamber of commerce for the Iranian-American business and professional community. The Chamber has an inclusive orientation, is nonpolitical, is not affiliated with any government, receives no benefit from any government, and has no political agenda. The US-Iran Chamber of Commerce believes in strengthening the voice of the Iranian-American business and professional community, highlighting the achievements of the community, and increasing awareness of the Iranian-American business community.
