United Visual Artists (UVA) is a London-based design practice founded in 2003 by Matt Clark, working at the intersection of new technologies and traditional media such as painting, sculpture, performance, and site-specific installation. Rather than producing conventional objects, UVA creates experiences in time where light, sound, and movement unfold, exploring cognition and perception through a blend of philosophy, science, and cultural inquiry. The studio has received commissions from prominent institutions including Barbican Curve Gallery, the Royal Academy, Serpentine, the Wellcome Trust, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, with public works sited in cities like Toronto, Dubai, Philadelphia, and London. Working across disciplines, UVA collaborates with choreographers, filmmakers, musicians, and fashion designers. In 2021 it launched the AIROGS challenge, an initiative linked to qurAI Group. As a small London-based practice, UVA maintains an international presence through its projects and collaborations.
