United Way of Central Washington is a local organization, serving Yakima and Kittitas counties. We're committed to using donations wisely, locally and effectively to make a positive difference in the lives of people in our community, creating a healthier community for us all. Last year, our partner agencies served more than 130,000 people, more than 1 in 3! Help comes in many forms, and our system of caring helps people from birth to senior, families and individuals get the support and tools they need to live better lives.

More than 17,000 people throughout our community support United Way each year, and give countless hours to serving our region.

During the annual campaign United Way of Central Washington raised nearly $1.3 million in support of the community. These funds were distributed by a group of 50 community volunteers and will support more than 60 programs at 54 local non-profits that have efficient and effective programs.

With your help, United Way has the unique ability, individually and collectively, to achieve broad civic goals that no single donor, citizen, nonprofit or charity could accomplish alone. Dedicated community volunteers provide the leadership. Caring partner agency staff members provide the support. It's a winning combination!
